Beach Ballerinas | Sarasota, Florida Children's Photographer, Siesta Key, Florida Child Photographer, Family Photographer

A little something to warm up the cold winter blues. I took this picture of my two daughters and my niece while on vacation last summer. For those of you who don't know....we love Florida and love, love, love Siesta Key. The beaches are to die for! I've had some Floridians interested in booking a session. I'd love to take a week and come down just for beach sessions sometime this summer. Please send me an email if you are interested. Once I get enough interest I will then try to nail down some firm dates.

Although I'm soooo over pictures of my girls in tutu's....apparently they're not. I'll take whatever I can get at this point.

Tresspassing With My Adorable Nephews! Detroit, Michigan Children's Photographer, Brighton, MI Children's Photographer, Howell, MI Photographer

Ahhhhh(That's me screaming)! I feel so bad that I haven't posted any pictures of my adorable nephews that I took back in....um I don't know October maybe :( They are so cute, if only I had the time to post all of them. I had a lot of fun with this session...despite the fact that we got kicked off of the first location because we were trespassing or something....oooopsies! I swear I'm a good person....but hey...when a great location seems to be screaming at me to come take pictures of people on it....it's really, really hard to ignore the voices. Unfortunately for me it's not so hard to ignore the crunching of leaves and the snapping of dry twigs as the owner of the property approached us. Talk about being on pins and needles. He asked us very kindly if we could move our photo session elsewhere. I agreed with tears in my eyes.....oh awesome location how I wish I could've used you. Anyway, I did feel better when the man said that I was the 5th photographer that week that he had to ask to leave. shhhhew(sigh of relief for those of you who don't know what shhhhew is) Hey at least I'm not the only trespasser ;)

Anyway...enough babble for now. Onto the super adorable boys below. Enjoy!!

I'm alive, I'm alive...yes I'm alive! Detroit Michigan Children's Photographer

I took about a month and a half off of work to focus on spending much needed quality time with my family....it felt soooo great! However, I missed work too, so it feels wonderful to be back! I am a little worried that I've lost all of my readers....is anyone still out there listening to me babble please let me know. I'd like to think that my chatter is being heard by someone...anyone....yes anyone...are you there....hello????? If you haven't forgot about me then please leave me a little love to let me know you are still there :)

I've had a very patient family that I photographed back towards the end of the fall who said that they'd be willing to wait for me to edit their images once I came back from my vacation...just as long as I could squeeze them in. Well, I'm hoping they feel that their images were worth the wait. I think they are adorable but hey let's be honest.....adorable kids...and I mean ADORABLE = amazingly cute pictures. I had so much fun with all of you. Enjoy your sneak peek...the rest of your gallery will be done in a couple of days!

Enjoy!

I could get lost in those beautiful baby blues!!!!! Birmingham, Michigan Children's Photographer/Detroit, Michigan Baby Photographer

Here is a part two snippet of the Loper session. Would you just look at this beautiful child...I mean honestly...I could get lost in those eyes and have crazy dreams about having more babies. Ugh...hold on a second......I have to go take the marker out of my 2 year olds hand since she's now turned my dining room wall into abstract art, and my oldest seems to be treating the coffee table as a catapult to launch herself through the air from mid living room onto the couch. Speaking of catapults.....I've just been quickly catapulted back to reality...this baby is precious and all....but let's be honest, the two I have are enough! I've got my hands full ;)

Ho Ho Ho!

Well we ventured over to the Mall last week to meet Santa Claus! The kids loved every second of it. He was the sweetest nicest Santa and even took a second for a silly fish lip picture. What a sport! Thanks so much Santa for making my girls visit so special!!!! We love you!

Now I do realize that this picture isn't of the best quality...let's face it...I'm a natural light photographer...and in the mall there was no source of natural light anywhere, so we've got a mixture of incandescent and fluorescent....but I still love this image!

No it's not his look alike! It's really him! | Birmingham, MI children's photographer, Detroit, MI Family Photographer

He's 6'6", and 320lbs, and made me feel miniature as he towered over me. Meet Daniel Loper of the Detroit Lions with his beautiful wife Jennifer and adorable 6 month old daughter Savannah. Now excuse me for a second while I gush over Jennifer for a bit. Jennifer could stop traffic....and that is no joke. She is gorgeous...and her eyes, oh my gosh those eyes.....all I have to say is WOW! And then there's Savannah....what a doll baby! Not only is she cute but she's probably one of the happiest 6 month olds that I've ever photographed. This sweet girl seriously smiled the entire time. She has the best disposition which I guess isn't so surprising considering her Mom and Dad are so easy going and fun to be around. It was exciting for me to capture the softer side of this rough and tough football player and the realtionship that he has with his family. It's obvious to me....whether he wants me to know or not....that his little Savannah and gorgeous wife Jennifer turn him in to a big pile of mush! Sorry Daniel....I guess the secret's out....I think you're a bit of a softy.

Daniel's subtle goofiness combined with Jennifer's warm personality made me feel like I had known them for years. Thank you for making this so easy and fun....I really had a great time working with you!

Now onto the pics.....

Jennifer wanted some formal family pictures done for their Christmas cards as well as a few casual shots. We also took some individual shots of Savannah so please be sure to come back to see part two of this post showcasing Savannah's beautiful bright blue eyes!
