We're leaving tomorrow and heading down to Siesta key for a little R & R and to get rid of the AWFUL FLIP FLOP TAN LINES ON MY FEET!!! I was so excited to learn that my client had a unique idea for one of her maternity pictures. She wanted to incorporate her wedding veil into one of the shots, so that is exactly what we did and I think it came out great. I think this just may be my new favorite maternity picture! Thanks for entertaining all of my insane ideas and for putting with me during what I know was a very difficult time! You guys were great! Please say a prayer for this couple as they are grieving over the loss of their sweet dog.

I love photographing Seniors maybe it's just because I have the BEST seniors ever!!!!!! Isn't this girl drop dead gorgeous? She looks just like...and I mean just like "Deanna" from the Bachelor/Bachelorette. Apparently she gets told this all of the time. Anyway, we talked about if she had any plans for college and one of the things that she is interested in learning more about is "Photography"...imagine that :) Photography is soooo fun and the great thing is...it never feels like work if you love what you do. Lucky for us this train came barreling by at the perfect time...however it just so happened to be the shortest train in history...maybe 5 cars total. I grabbed this shot as the engine roared by if you look closely towards the top you can see the blur of the engineers arm and hand. Anyway...doesn't this girl look "Fierce" as Tyra would say from America's Next Top Model.

I've been out of town for awhile with hopes of relaxing as well as getting some work done. Well I've done a lot of relaxing but haven't done much working. I'm in a different place, without my own tools, so I've found myself seriously struggling to get any editing done. I don't want to get too ahead of myself just incase I need to re-edit these once I get home. The monitor that I'm working on is uncalibrated...so if this post looks different than my usual stuff...then that's probably why. I did try some new things with these photos...I'm ready for a little change in my style. Let me know what you think! Enough about me....How about this Beautiful California Girl??? This Senior came all the way from Orange County, California and I'm going to try to convince her to take me home with her when she leaves here the end of this week. I love her funky style...which you'll see more of later. She's like a free spirit and is so laid back and easy to work with. Fun Filled Family!!!!

I have to admit when I was asked to photograph a group of 16....I was a little apprehensive. The main reason is I feel like my creativity is a little stifled when trying to fit 16 people in the frame all at once. But we did it....and yes it's your typical group shot of 16....but the amount of fun that I had photographing the individual familes that make up this crazy and uber fun bunch was a blast. I couldn't have asked for a greater group of people. You were all sooooo much fun to work with. I love how close you all are even though you are scattered throughout the country...I could really feel your connection as a family and I feel so lucky to have been part of your special day! Ok so this picture just might be my most favorite picture of all time! I just love the emotion between the two. These two are 80 years "young" and will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary next year. These two are the backbone to this amazing family of which they are both so proud of, rightfully so!
















Ok this Dad is a crack up and I think his sons think he's a riot too....the whole nerd pose....all Dad's bright idea and the boys just rocked it...don't ya think?
