My daughters and their future husbands! Milford, MI children's Photographer, South Lyon, MI Children's Photographer

So my dream as well as my friends dream is that our children will someday fall madly in love and get married. That way we would know that we would always like our childrens in laws since we're all such good friends. How fun would it be to have a double wedding? I can imagine this picture on their wedding announcement...how perfect!

Beautiful! Howell, Mi Senior Photographer, Howell, MI Senior Pictures, Brighton, MI Senior Pictures

Meet my new Senior Rep! I had so much fun photographing this beautiful girl! She's a natural in front of the camera. Let's just say she's had lots of attention in the spotlight being an A-Mazing dancer and all. She's studied for the past 5 summers in places like New York, California, and Toronto just to name a few. This girl is going places...whether it be dancing, acting or perhaps a career in modeling?? The world is her Oyster and this won't be the last time you see her...I can guarantee it.

I had such a hard time deciding which images to share because they are all so beautiful. I guess for now, I'll leave you with these 6 to wet your tastebuds.

I Heart Faces Photowalk in the big "D" as in Detroit! Detroit, Mi Portrait Photographer, Detroit, MI children's Photographer

Here are a couple of images that I shot on the I Heart Faces Photowalk in Detroit a couple of weeks ago. It was such great fun to get together with so many other photographers who share the same passion as I do. So inspiring to be around so many talented people and among those people...my friends Laurel Hogge and Jean Smith who hosted the walk. Thanks so much for all of the effort you put into making the day a success. I had a great time!

Meet my gorgeous friend Becky who was such a good sport about modeling some goods that we found in an adorable little antique shop. Thanks Becky!

I was honored and super surprised when this image won "Best Image" of the I heart faces Photowalk Detroit. To see all of the other beautiful winning images from other cities around the country click here

Beach Beauties! Brighton, MI Children's Photographer, South Lyon, MI Children's Photographer, Milford, MI Commercial Photographer

You may remember one of these darling little girls from a commercial shoot that I did about a year ago. Well she's back and this time she brought along her adorable big sister. We didn't have the ideal conditions for a beach session since the wind was whipping at about 30mph, but we made due and definitely got some adorable shots. Thanks girls, I had a wonderful time photographing you!

It's the power of Raw baby and oh does it feel good! Howell, MI Children's Photographer

So I listened the advice of my good friend, the insanely talented, the one and only Jean Smith as she listened to me cry for a full hour about my images. I may or may not have been the reason for her taking several wrong turns in Detroit on Saturday...even though her GPS was shouting at her repeatedly to..."Keep Right, Keep Right, Keep Right" Hey what can I say, I was busy trying to eat my Starbucks oatmeal with my finger because I couldn't find a spoon...we're talking catastrophe people. So as I obnoxiously slurped my oatmeal off my finger and tried talking over the rude GPS lady who kept interrupting me..I explained to Jean...well wait a second let me rephrase that, I boo hoo'd and whined like a little baby, that I wanted my images to be bright, crisp, clean, colorful. I told her that I wanted my midtones to be bright but that I wanted to retain some detail in the face. She told me to switch to "Raw" and that is exactly what I did. thanks Jean for all of your advice...you rock!

Hello color in the sky and detail in the face, hello gorgeous color in the background and no ugly blow out areas. I'm over here singing out loud...are you ready for this??...No really...I don't think your ready for how crazy I am......here it goes...."I'm so excited and I just can't hide it, I'm about to lose control and I think I like it"! LOL. I knew that Raw was a wonderful thing, I'm just not so sure why I've been so scared of it for so long.

I also had the pleasure of speaking with the very talented Brooke Ashley...who's work makes me drool. What a talent this chick is and so sweet to have called me after receiving my email of desperation. She too listened to me boo hoo for what seemed like hours about the same thing. She was so nice to spend so much time talking with me about how to achieve this "look" that I'm after. Thanks a ton Brooke I really enjoyed talking with you.

Now is this image itself anything to write home about?? No, not really. Hey beggers can't be choosy right? I had to beg and plead with my daughter to let me snap a few quick images and this is the look that she gave me. Oh well. Will the processing of my next image look like this??? Probably not, but "Somethin tells me I'm into somethin good!"...yep I'm still singin' over here..hee hee hee!

Ok so now the question that I ask all of you is....Do you see a difference??? And YES I need HONESTY people! If you don't see much of a difference then please tell me because it's the only way that I can improve. Thanks in advance!

Tap, Tap, hello...I think I've lost the majority of my readers since I never post anything...I'll get you all back..if it's the last thing that I do ;)

Almost 6yrs old...where does the time go? Howell, MI Children's Photographer, Brighton, MI Children's Photographer, Detroit, MI Child Photographer

It's hard to believe that my sweet little girl will be turning 6 in less than two weeks. It's crazy to me just how fast time flies. I swear it was just yesterday that I found out I was expecting her. Although at times things get tough as my little one tries to become more independent by spreading her wings. I've learned to take deep breaths and embrace her persistent strong willed personality because it's that very personality that will help her move mountains some day. My sweet little earth shaker, cuddle bug snuggler, day dreamer, big thinker, silly nilly, soon to be mountain mover...please slow down, stop growing, because you're not even gone and I miss you already. I want to keep you small so you can stay with me forever. I love you more than you know!
