Brown Eyed Girl / Detroit, Michigan Commercial Photographer
I had the pleasure of working with this adorable 4yr old model. Isn't she just scrumptious??? And how about the hats that she's modeling??? Yeah Jamie Rae Hats are are a must have for this fall and if your chomping at the bit and want a hat now....well she even has adorable sun hats for you little ones too. You'll soon be able to check out some of my work over at her site...I'm a sucker for cute hats and cute kids....I couldn't have asked for a better gig :) You'll be seeing much more of this little darling as I will be photographing her every 6-8 weeks for several other clothing companies. Thanks for being so sweet little "E" can't wait for our next session! Enjoy your sneak peek.

Pink Party 2009...Livingston County Photographer
Ok so I've had numerous requests to post the pictures of me dressed up at "The Pink Party". For those of you who don't know what The Pink Party is...well let me fill you in. It was a fabulous town wide fund-raiser to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This Shin Dig was the work of Kim Wilson...owner of Downtown Howell's Carriage house (A fabulous gift/home decor store). To read more about the event click here! The event was a huge success and raised over $25,000. Woo Hoo! Are you all wondering if my efforts to dress so radical paid off???? Well, yes they did! Not only did I have fun but I was one of the lucky ones crowned as Queen of The Pink Party. I received a beautiful pink sash, pin and crystal tiara...so silly but sooo fun! The 2 other deliciously pink broads posing with me are my sister in law (pink hair and white sunglasses) and the other...we'll refer to her as lady butterfly...she's my friend. Enjoy.
I tried some new post processing...just wanted to explore and try something a little different. They kind of have a vintage-y feel to them.

Lovebirds! Howell, Michigan Photographer
Ok I know these two lovebirds are chomping at the bit for a sneaky peeky...so here it is. I feel bad that I only have one to show you but I'm having some major trouble with my editing software right now. Does anyone know why I keep getting booted out of cs3 randomly when I go to maximize and image? It doesn't give me an error message or anything...it just says "An error has occurred and cs3 needs to shut down." So frustrating! Anyway, enough gabbing out of me and on to the incredibly hot couple!
The Princess Birthday Party!!! Detroit, Michigan Children's Photographer
Well my oldest daughter just turned 5 last week and I can hardly believe it. Where does the time go??? Anyway, I heard through the grapevine that she had been inviting girls to her "Princess Birthday Party" approximately 6 months ago. The funniest part is....she had never discussed it with me. She dreamed up the idea and apparently had been excited about it for quite sometime. So what's a Mom to do??? I obviously had some party planning to do. My very own princess asked that all her friends come dressed up as their favorite princess. Then at her request... we did all of the little princess' hair, make-up and nails. They all received the "Royal Treatment". From the moment they arrived they walked up the Royal Pink carpet into the house where we decorated purses and wands, made bracelets, ate pizza and cake and even had a princess dance. We ended the party with a Princess parade throughout the neighborhood where we all practiced our princess waves and filled our purses with goodies from each house that we stopped at. Even though it was raining...we didn't let that stop us! Good fun was had by all. A big thanks to all of the Mom's who for making sure that the little girls came dressed like royalty...and even a bigger thanks for putting up with all of the glitter afterwards :)
Making Bracelets...
Decorating purses...
This incredibly fabulous cake was made by my sister....isn't it awesome? If anyone would like a cake decorated for a special occasion let me know :)
Notice how my daughter is hiding from the camera....hence me not having any pictures of her at her own party. Oh yeah and where is my youngest daughter? She was there dressed up as Tinker Bell....but not a single picture to prove it.
